Silencer refers to noise reduction devices such as pipelines and elbows with sound-absorbing lining or sudden changes in cross-sectional area and other pipes with discontinuous sound impedance, which can attenuate the noise in the pipeline. Reflect back. The former is called a resistive muffler, the latter is called a resistive muffler, and there are also impedance compound mufflers.
1. The noise reduction effect of the muffler is related to the sound level of the muffler entrance. The muffler entrance is usually set at a higher position of the system sound source (such as the outlet of the fan or air conditioner).
2. The muffler should not be installed in the air-conditioning room or outdoor, to prevent noise from penetrating into the pipe behind the muffler.
3. In order to prevent the influence of noise, the flow velocity in the air channel of the muffler should be determined according to the requirements of the control noise level standard. The muffler should generally be less than 8m/s, and should not be more than 12m/s. The wind resistance of the muffler is large (15~20m/s).
4. When one air duct is transported to multiple rooms, it is advisable to increase the distance between the air outlets of adjacent rooms, or adopt measures such as adding muffler elbows and paste sound absorbing materials on the inner wall of the air duct to prevent noise interference in the room.
5. In addition to meeting the requirements of sound absorption performance, the selected sound absorbing materials and structures should also pay attention to moisture resistance, temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, and air flow erosion resistance.
6. The main control parameters of the muffler are muffler volume, spectrum characteristics, wind speed, air volume, and air resistance (coefficient).
7. The noise reduction effect of the muffler is related to the wind speed, and it should be selected according to the dynamic noise reduction of the manufacturer's product sample.
8. Due to the shortcomings of secondary dust production, the muffler cannot be used in clean air conditioning systems.
9. The muffler should be installed on the pipe section with stable airflow in the duct system, and should be as close as possible to the place where noise control is required.
Muffler has the characteristics of resistive muffler to eliminate mid-range and high-frequency noise and resistant muffler to eliminate low- and mid-range noise. It has a wide-band muffler effect.
